If you thought that once your website goes live and you've completed all the necessary SEO procedures, you can walk away and forget about it, think again. Since success of every website ultimately depends on its ranking with the search engines, you primary goal should be keeping those engines interested. If your website content does not change, it does not give the web crawlers a reason to revisit it. Every time you update a web page, you draw a crawler in. So, the sites with constantly changing and evolving content get the most visits, which eventually results in higher rankings.
As always, it is important to make sure that the new content is rich in keywords. However, quantity is not necessarily quality here. If you publish an article that is loaded with keywords, but does not make any sense, the search engines will notice and penalize you for it. As it is everywhere on the Web, content is king. So, be sure to treat it accordingly.
