Like with many things in business getting more customer reviews requires some proactive actions on your part. You know you do a great job and provide excellent service. You know your customers walk away happy if they genuinely express their appreciation. However, most of those happy customers will not take an extra step to write a review for your business. Unless you ask them. In this age of social media, reviews have become a vital part of any business's success. So, collecting and managing reviews has to be one of your most important marketing efforts. There are many ways to make it easy for your customers to leave a review. Send an email thanking them for their business and provide a link to a review site. Or post a QR code or an SMS number near the register with the same link. Be sure to be diplomatic and sincere when asking for feedback. Most will be happy to help a business that they like.
